i found a victor jr intake that has been stage 1 ported on ebay.i was wondering if this was to much for the street i have 351w heads that have been ported on a 289,282 isky hyd. cam

I wouldnt think so...low end will be hurt but i see you have 4:11 gears which should let that 289 wind up very quick.

this manifold has no rear water crossover does this make a differnce.

A vic Jr intake is worth it almost every time. Maybe now is the time to step up the cam specs?

Um, it also doesn't have a manifold vacuum port. Hope your carb has a connection unless you want to drill/tap the manifold.
