351W pistons Vs 351C pistons

What pistons did the 351W come with as opposed to the Cleve? i know the Cleve comes /w flat-tops some years.. looking for a Windsor with flattops if they came..Also what's the differences in the lifter valley? Can a canted head be used on a W?

Yes the pistons are different. And yes the canted valve Cleveland heads can be put on a windsor. The Ford performance catalog has a great technical section on all of this.

Is there a good year of block for the W? What are the differences?

Pre 1975 blocks are the way to go. Thicker casting in the mains area but are around 10lbs heavier

****, for 10lbs, i'd sooner go with, because my school bag weighs more than that If this logis misses it's mark, i'll explain
