autolite carb 4100
I recently rebuilt a autolite 4100 and have a question.

When the pump on the front of the carb operates I can feel air coming out of the top of the casting by the joint. It seems like the gasket is in place correctly, but I still get this air coming through.

Is this a problem. If so how do I fix it. I want to diagnose this before I put the carb on the car. thx.
