Starting choppy and dying

Lately, my car has become very difficult to start. The first time the car is started for the day, it takes a good 6-10 tries to get it to start, and when it does, it runs real real choppy until it gets warmed up. After that, each subsequent start is no problem.

Tonight, I stopped to get something to drink, started the car, put it in reverse, and it died. I had to give it extra gas and use the brake just to get out of the parking spot.

What is going on? Is my fuel pump going? Are my plugs bad?

BTW, 351C c4 .....

Have you checked your choke ?? You could also have a vacuum leak. What kind of carb are you running?

I'm with timo on the choke thing and maybe the carb needs adjustment with the on set of winter and winter fuels.
