Drag slicks-DOT slicks-Radial DOT slicks...what will they do to my 60 ft.time?

With 255 60 15 standard radials the best 60 ft.times with my Futura have been around 2.1 sec. For next summer I am planning to test the new 393 with real/better tires. What is your estimate about 60 ft times with different type of tires ? Information about the car: 535 hp 393 stroker Windsor.Tremec TKO II, Centerforce DF clutch, 4.11 geared 9 " with Trac loc.Weight 3200 with driver.Suspension is geared more towards hi-speed touring than dragstrip. Will remove the front swaybar for drags though.
Personally I am thinking about 1.6 with real slicks,1.7 with DOT street slicks and 1.8 with radial DOT slicks. Is this about right? How does the added traction affect quartermile times/ et?

Its really hard to say with your combo but your guesses sound realistic.Just to give you an idea my stang with 225-70-14s ran a 14.90 with a 60 ft of 2.61.I put on my McCreary road stars G-60-15 and ran a 13.98 with a 2.05 60ft.If you do the math thats a huge improvement.Half a second off the line and nearly a full second off the ET.

If your suspension is setup good, all should be close. There are people cutting the 1.5's with BFG Drag Radials. The better you get in the 1st 100 feet, the better your ET.

Change your front struts and springs for a drag setup and put on some 28 12.50 Et streets and you should be 1.6 easy. You might break you trans before you get a 1.5 60 foot with that stroker.
