88 Cougar XR7 5.0 HO

Hello,
I have a problem.. My 5.0 HO moter is not running the "normal" stang firing order. I was going to convert from speed density to mass air, when I finally figured this out. I was hoping there is a way I could go ahead with the install, using the parts I already have?? I don't want to swap the cam. Could I just switch the wires to different locations????? Please help. Thanks

If you have the mass air computer it is programed for the HO/351w firing order as I'm sure you know. You could have it reprogramed, or switch the injector harness around as mentioned in the garage post. Swaping out the cam to one with the HO/351w firing order would be the best thing, and you could port that intake while you have it off.
