1989 Mustang LX w/Tremec (TKO) and 3:55 gear.

Hello All!
I'm swapping the 'Ole 302 out and need some help with designing the proper fuel injection system for the FRPP 392 stroker build up.

With (450 hp @ 5850 RPM and 450 Ft lbs @ 4000 RPM torque on tap), what would be the appropriate size of these injection components:

Intake manifold
Throttle body
Injector size
Mass air meter

Will the factory A9L cpu control such a massive engine upgrade, reckon?

Any help with this project is greatly appreciated!!

Thank you,
J. Mark Dorsett

Thats a pretty stout motor for a EFI combo.
You'll need a big intake... either a vic jr efi, or something like a TFS track heat... or even consider a box upper and truck lower.

Throttle Body... at least 77mm, 80 if you can find one. Same goes for the mass air.

Injectors... I'm guessing 36lb/hr will be safe.

The A9L will get you running, but with much displacement and air flow, you really should get it on a dyno with a wideband sensor and a chip tuner and have a chip burned. Otherwise, if you are really adventerous, get a ECC tuner and laptop and try your own tuning.
