C6 Valve body help

Looking for some valve body help now.
I'm trying to find out whether my TCI full manual, reverse pattern valve body with trans brake(421500)has been reassembled correctly, after auto was rebuilt. The auto has been playing since the rebuild, as stated in a previous post.
After emailing TCI tech line for an exploded view or even a power flow diagram, this was their reply

"I honestly don't know what may be going on here. unfortunately I can;t send the flow charts and VB diagrams out but I can tell you to go to our site { www.tciauto.com} and click on the ins. link . Go to the part # 421500 for a complete set up of how everything should be done. Thanks WIll"

The web page that he told me to visit, only explains how to install.

If anyone can help with descriptions or diagrams it would be greatly appreciated.

Are the valves orignal ford valves, and if so are they the same locations and directions? If they are I can check my chilton auto manual.
If there is any C6 or auto based forums, if I could be directed to , I would be greatful

Once again thanks
Mick

I doubt if you will find that info at TCI. And yes, for the most part all the valves are the ame with minor exceptions as devlivered from Ford. The major changes are usually done to the half with the fluid channels not the half with the vavles and diferent springs for the valves.

If you know someone that has the instructions for a TransGo shift kit, then you can probably find the valve/springs locations. TransGo usually has pics of the valve body disassembled for each mod their kit makes. Or if you can find a Tech manual for the C6, it wil have the info you are seeking.

So, check your Chilton book for the valve locations and orientations.

I have some killer pictures in my ATSG rebuild manual. Wish I had a scanner or fax. Maybe you can pick up the manual at a local trans supply house. I think mine was $10.

Good luck with anything from TCI. I had one & tried for years to get them to warranty it. Finally fixed it myself. Try Art Carr, PA, or some other trans places. All the older ones are the same & someone can surely help you, wish I could.
