Could I put 2000 Cobra R's on my 66 Fairlane?

The bolt pattern is the same, but I wasnt sure about the backspacing and other issues. The wheels that are on it now are fifteens, and the Cobra R's are seventeens, but I'm about sure that they will fit, they definitely will with some low profile tires. I just thought it would look killer with a set.

I am in the same boat. I have a set of 2000 GT Mustang wheels and I'm not sure if they fit either. I have noticed on the new Mustangs have spacers behind the wheels. Let me know what you find. Thanks

I think you mite find that the center hole on the whell is a little small for your drum or rotor. You will iether have to turn down the drum or rotor or make the hole in the whell bigger. This is what we found even trying to put them on a early 90,s lsc.

Im runnin late model wheels on my stang. I use an 1.25" spacer from H&R racing. Had had no problems whatsoever with them loosening, and I drive hard Go for it, makes a nice upgrade.

Does H&R Racing have a website? Or where can you get the spacers?

You might want to stick with a 1" spacer instead of the 1.25" as it tends to fit under the lip better.

I went with the extra 1/4 because it brought my wheels to the edge of the lip, very clean look. The best way to see which spacer to get is to bolt up the wheels, and see how far you can come out. Dont go to far, as too much space can severly decrease the life of wheel bearings.
