is this too low for street?

i am trying to do this look, and suspension
yes i would need to kut the front 1/4's if i use wides up front but hey thats what i want.
what other than stock is going on in that car?

That will work fine on the street, as long as it is not moving. Just kidding!

I don't think you could move that out of your driveway.

I did a one inch drop on my Falcon once. Looked good, but when I high-centered the car on the Sunday edition of the Houston newspaper, I jacked it back up again. Everything also got caught in the headers - beer cans, popcicle sticks, squirrels, etc. Don't get cornered in a parking lot with speed bumps.

no thats not to low my buddy is running a 68 cougar thats that low if not lower he has a 351c in with about 500hp hes has 720 coil springs with about 3-4 inch drop and custom rear leaf springs

Amen to ckelly comments. My headers are about 2 3/4 inches from teh ground. Usually not a problem on the flat roads. Driveways that have a small curb to road step will tear the headers off. Fairgrounds ruts and even mild speedbumps will hurt you.

Worst time was following a truck that blew a tire to pieces right in front of me..I was converted to a street sweeper. Luckily no damage, but had to clear the tire pieces from the h-pipe and side dumps.

Think twice about going any lower.
