cam lift

how does cam lift effect an engine?

cam lift

Well, lift lets air in....air out....so you should select a lift that works best with the amount of air your motor can pump. Just because you increase lift does not mean that the motor will make more power. Duration and ramp speed is more important "how long the valve stays open".
