Street heat heads and Valve covers SBF with 1.7 rollers - need valve covers.

Anyone have a spare set of Valve covers they want to sell? I'd love the tall polished Motorsports covers

I have a set of the finned "COBRA" covers on the motor in the car, my stroker is coming together and I just realized:
1. I don't have any valve covers for it (I was going to take them off the other motor but that would leave me with an open engine lying around)
2. I don't know if the short covers will clear the Roller rockers.
3. I thought the Street Heat heads had tall rails cast into them
4. I have no money

Anyone have any covers they want to sell?
I'm in Ohio (Stow, near Summit Racing).

Thanks,
Mike

I ran the stock valve covers on my 85 gt with the street heats. I have shaft rockers though. They might set a bit lower than the stud mounts.

I was under the impression that some the later model 302's (5.0's) had taller stamped steel valve covers for this reason.

Hey, I'm staying up in cleveland for a few months, how far away is summit, and where is it at? I'd love to check it out.

Summit is over in tallmadge, about 35 minute drive from Cleveland, depending on which side you're on.

77 south to the Central interchange, 76 East to exit 29, you'll see it from the expressway. The 77 stretch is a long haul, about 20 some miles, you'll only be on 76 for about 4 to the exit.
