Paxton Novi 1200 on a 289

This new Paxton looks cool on the 289. I may be taking on another project and have a question.
this car has a 289 with stock bottom end except for arp rod bolts, main bolts and head bolts. If the buildup will result at 325-340 at the flywheel, the paxton (and everyone else say you will get another 35% with a paxtonand 7 lbs or so of pressure. they seem to be adding these Paxtons to stock bottom ends...
That means I'd have 460 or more in HP...when at WOT... Will these engines hold together with only APR bolts but stock crank and rods, hyper flat top pistons???
Mike Burch seems to be running a NOS set up with stock rods.....be a bitch to buy a Paxton just to have the bottom fall apart when the fun starts....Whatcha think???

it may be late but the best arp bolts you can buy will hold your motor together.

Your weak link in a blower setup will be the hyper pistons. When you get up to 6psi and above you really need to be running forged pistons. This is not saying hypers wont work but if you want a reliable and correct power adder setup you will change over to forged. The rods are usually not a weak link till you get up to 500fwhp.

I would think his combo would yield more in the tune of 3700-380 hp. If tuned right.
