IS IT DEAD???

My car ran 50 miles on 14lb injectors with a computer calibrated for 19lb injectors!!!!!!! only found out after inspecting the work done at a shop! had it done because used injectors were gonna be cleaned and installed. Had a mass air system upgrade. The car ran kind of sluggish on the way home, far from normal. It had a little white smoke from the exhaust, blown head gasket? I replaced them with a head gasket kit. Now I have dark smoke! HELP

I can't imagine running 14 lb injectors on a 19 lb cal would do too much damage unless your running pretty good boost.

You will run lean. If you ran hard for any period of time this way, you could do some damage.

I'd recommend a compression test just be sure.

Dark smoke? Black smoke is a rich fuel condition. If you're still running the 14's with the 19 cal, it should NOT run rich.

ah man, I didn't realize that I left that out. I switched back to the original set-up of 14lb injectors and the regular computer. Just to see if the engine would run the way it did before the screw up. But it doesn't, havn't tried to drive it. Just let it idle a for about 10 minutes, the temp guage didn't even move! All new engine sensors though.
