Engine temp.

I went out and bought me an oil,temp,amp gauges and hooked them up. My temp. reads around 185 degrees after driving it for 30 miutes.I have an 180 thermostat in it.It is probably 45 degrees outside.Does that temp 185 sound about right? My oil pressure reads about 50 lbs.It drops to around 30 when idling.Thanks

Mine runs about 190, 195 on hot days in traffic, on the freeway in comes back down to 180, 185. Keep it under 200 and you will be fine.

Thanks guys, It was cheaper than a radiator.I mounted it under dash on the right side of steering wheel next to the air conditioner.It looks real good. My oil pressure reads around 30 at idle and 40-50 when driving. My water temp is around 185 with a 180 thermostat. My volts are around 13. It even had green lights to match my dash lights.
