Carb Recommendations for 289

I just through on an Edelbrock 600 electric choke on my stang and she runs awesome. With a few little upgrades, like changing the needles, she feels like fuel injection.

I use a 625cfm Road demon. Killer throttle response. Not to big not to small. Stock jets. Roller 302 ,Roush 200 heads,
Edelbrock rpm intake, FMS b303 cam, msd ignition. 10.2 to 1 compression. I think it is important to add that every combination is different. The best thing to do is test and tune the jets at the track or dyno. I went up and down in jets but ended back to the originals.

Seems kinda pointless to respond after everyone else, but I'll thow in anothe vote for the 650dp. Runs great on my 289, idles good, cruises down to about 1500rpm, and pulls hard past 7K. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

650 is about the biggest I would go as well.

BTW those 390 carbs you are talking about end up flowing about as good as your stock 750 by the time they get worked over...
