fuel lines

I need new fuel lines to handle the higher line pressure for my efi swap. I wabted to know two things, (1) what size should I use to feed a mild small block and (2) what would be the best/cheapest line to use?

06AN Earl's line. It's the easiest to work with compared to Aeroquip and Russel.

thats what I was looking at but I wasn't sure. I am also considering useing a holly inline pump, (#12920). it was the cheapest I could find that seemed to have enough psi.

Many Holley EFI pumps are manufactured for them by Walbro. You may be able to save money by buying a Walbro brand and have an identical pump without paying for the Holley name.

Not meaning to step on any toes or cause hard feelings....but

When it comes to fuel lines, I think you are fooling yourself and endangering you and others by thinking the 'easiest and cheapest' solution. Your solution or others may work just fine, but my life to me is work the cost of using braided steel cover teflon hose which for #6 or #8 has over 2000psi burst strength and doesn't harden or deteriorate like a rubber lined hose will nor does heat form the headers or engine affect it as badly as rubber. And since you are going to replace the line, why not go with #8 hose?

BTW, the hose type I am referring to is like the braided lines used for NOS.

I wouldn't put my self in danger by useing cheap lines either. I had not planed on useing a cheapo rubber line, when I used the word cheap in my ? I was assuming that nobody on this board would but theirs or my life indanger by suggesting an iferier product.
