Auto math question.I found a flow converter that says at 28"wc .256 X CFM X number of cylinders will give you potential horspower. But at what valve lift.I want to know how much CFM I would need to flow to potentially produce 500HP at .600 valve lift. Can anyone help with this quetion?

cfm to horsepower

Isnt this an easy one: 250 cfm?
I have used this rule of a thumb : intake runner flow x 2 = horsepower potential.
Compare these figures to each other and youŽll notice that this simple rule works.. well enough for us average hot rodders
