17*8 torq thrusts w/ 4.5 backspace on a 66 stang?

Will these wheels fit well on a 66 stang. Once again they are 17*8 with a 4.5 backspace. I know that I wil need to get a camber kit, buti Dont know if they will rub all the time or not? Thanks

If you dont lower it you may not have a rubbing problem. I run the 16x8 Vintage 45, the 17 is a better choice for control arm clearence, the 16 puts the edge of the rim on the upper control arm. The 4.5" backspace will be correct for the 8" wide rim.
