driveshaft length T5

going from a c4 to a t5 do I need to shorten or get a new driveshaft?

Well, I'm guessing that this is on a 89stang???? You can just use a stock lenght driveshaft since the T5 was used from the factory...I guess the question is-is your current driveshaft a factory one? If not, a junkyard would be cheaper than cutting and rebalancing.

i'm going from the '67 c4 tranny and stock driveshaft, will i need to shorten mine? if so how much?(also a t5 conversion)

I have a '67 coupe that I switched from a C4 to a T-5. I also swapped out the 8" for a Granada 9" and the stock Mustang shaft was too short. I had the Granada shaft shortened a bit instead.
Call the guys out at Mustangs Plus in California as they routinely make aluminum shafts for all combos. They can probably tell you what you need.
