Harmonic exchange

I have good 351w (heads J.R.200,ESP rods, W. steath intake, 3200-6500rpm cam +all the good stuff ARP has to offer)with a fully balenced bottom end. The clutch P. Plate, Flywheel, crank, Rods, Pistons, and Harmonic Balancer were all dynamicly balanced.

The balancer that is with the motor is a stock ford Harmonic Balancer (beleive that it's neutral balanced, cause I have a 28oz out flywheel), it's in good shape.(it's an early three bolt)
I have come opon a new Aluminum Damper thats neutral balanced and SFI aproved.
Can I just throw this new damper on?
DO I have to have a shop match it to my old damper?
Is this all just a pipe dream?
thanks

The car:
1970 Mustang Coupe
5-speed, locker rear 3.50 grears
Fiberglass front clip
No heater (motor runs at 160F)
Stock disk brakes
Stock gas tank
Headers, o2 sensors(for A/F meter),
+purple hornies

Harmonic exchange

I don't recall ford ever selling any sbf vehicles with a neutrol balance dampner. I'm sure they were all 28 or 50oz. They did/do sell neutrol balance for NASCAR and other things but I don't believe they ever put them on a factory ride.

If you have a 28oz on the back, you should have a 28oz on the front.
