boss rear wing ?

Hi

i have a 71 mach1, and i have been offerd to buy a "boss" wing for $100, what i would like to know if this is a real boss wing or not.

it's a bit wider and thicker than my own wing
it's adjustable

anyone that have some closeup pics of a real boss wing ?

is it worth $100 ?

I think it is worth 100.00. If you don't want it, I might.

Just strokin,
Maybe it's just me, but is that wing on the back of the Mustang on backwards?? I have owned two other Mustangs(one a 71, the other a 72, and currently have another 71 project waiting in the wings, sorry no pun intended) and they wings have always been facing the other way than what I see on your picture there. The pedastals on mine were leaning to the tail end of the car, not forward. Am I seeing this right, or were my wings on backwards?

These pics came from the CJ site that is suppose to be the experts on restoring the Mustangs.

Bu I do agree with you, the on pic does look like it is mounted a$$backwards.

I was pretty certain it was backwards, every picture I've seen of the factory shows it the right way, but I do see quite a few "restored" Mustangs with the wings on backward like that . Oh well...as long as the owners are happy I guess.

Looks backwards to me.

Mine is mounted with the "Thicker Rounder" edge as the "Leading" edge and the thinner sharper edge to the rear.

Pedistal feet mounted exactly as in the diagram.

Mine is an original factory "Ford" wing ... I paid $150.00 for it about six years ago

How do they fit on a 68 cougar, I'm just tempted to do it, so the 'drastic plastic' types would know how they are supposed to look.

Thanks, darkman, I got wood... do you think it's the cougar wing, or the mustang, if i remember, the mustang wing is about an ince wider (and more availble) for a '68.
