in a 85 T-Bird what controls the digital dash[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]It isnt working[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img].Is there a fuze,a moduel,reset button or what[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_bicker.gif[/img]or do you need a new one. HELP

My cougars got the digital dash also, had the same problem. My problem turned out to be the connections for the digital dash panel. Couldn't find a problem with the fuse or find any info about it so, I just tore it apart. Cleaned the connections, and everything worked again.

is there any thing that goes bad to make it NOT work?? is it still working but i just cant see it cause the lights are out[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif[/img]

there are two green bulbs behind there. You have to pull the whole cluster and there will be two bulb sockets behind where your spedo is. Hope this helps,

I would try the bulbs in the cluster first. If you can't see it that is usually what wrong. I have seen the clusters go out. I have replaced a bunch.

Ah man! I forgot about them bulbs. Change them, I think the #'s are 197. You need bout' 3-4 packs, they come 4 per pack. I get the LED ones, makes it even brighter.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif[/img]

When you say the digital display is out do you mean just the speedo?? If so there are two halogen bulbs behind it, they are notorious for failing. Std #194 bulbs wok fine, but if you can find them the orig number is #2033.
