Found a 429

Is there any difference in the "physical" size of 429 vs a 460. I am willing to sacrafice a few cubes if I can gain some clearance between the shock towers. FYI I was told by the guy at the boneyard that it is coming out of a thunderbird. I plan to put it in my 67 coupe which is presently a I6.3spd

No difference in physcial size between the 429 and 460. Externally they are identical.

One note, the Tbird engine in the late 60's had a shorter snout on the water pump. This same pump was used on the Boss9.

The only physical differences are the "Pistons" and the "Crank" ...

Zero difference on the exterior.
