460/429 pulleys & brackets...

I managed to put on the 2 big pulleys & that thick cast bracket the A/C bolts to without any trouble. Just spent 15 minutes trying to remember how the hell the Alternator goes back on. Seem to have the P/S pump bracket more or less sorted, altho I only have the 2 bolts that go into the waterpump in so far. As for the rest of all this stuff it may as well be Rocket Science. I have a small pulley (that has a piece cut off it for some reason) that goes above the water pump pulley someplace & another large bracket that I am totally clueless about.
Think I may have to go visit the neighbior with the 460/Galaxie & see what goes where, assuming he has all the stuff that I have. Can't find a single bloody picture in ANY of the manuals I have.....

Those things are a pain, I junk 'em. One of the pullies that has a bearing & a bracket is an idler for the AC. Check & see if it has a square hole in it.

Yup, thats the one that has been cut just about in half for some reason.....

I have to make a trip to the bolt shop later as most of the bolts that came outta this engine look like they were salavaged from the Titanic....
