oil smell oil smell

oil smell
i changed my oil yesterday and today when i checked the level after a short drive i noticed it has a burnt oil/fuel smell......could this be a problem?

oil smell
Has the oil level changed any? If it went up, it could be fuel from flooding. But I have used a brand of oil in the past that has a strong petroleum odor. Don't remember the brand though.
