What size trans cooler for 8\" convertor / street driven

How big of a trans cooler do you think I will need with a 8" convertor driven on the street??? It is a Coan 8" 4000 stall... Should I look into one of the trans coolers with a fan on it... Or do you think a regualar trans cooler will be o.k?????

Was thinking something like this... Dont know if it will fit though... It looks like it is about 3" in depth?????

Any thoughts appreciated....

Dont know if this matters or not... The trans is a Performance Automatic c4 Super Comp....

Got one just like it mounted just beneath the seat on the Mustang. I just turn it off to make the run. Ran the lines up and over the reansmission.

This car is street driven though.....

Thought it should be mounted in front of the car somewere????? Am I mistaken????

You can mount it anywhere. That fan blows LOTS of air.
