Anyone see the new Kaase SBF heads!?!?!?!

I think in terms of splayed as in main studs on oppsite angle but equal and in line. Canted i take as in oppsite angles but not at the same degrees for each and not in line. Meaning that you cant just move one angle to acheive the other valve. I have worked on c's before not fun lots of work.

Did you read the engine build -up's by Kaase? Sounds like a decent head. You know you want a pair Chilly. Go for it!

That's a pretty bold statement "The Highest Flowing Small Block Ford Head Available!" when the AFRs outflow the heads at 0.700 on the exhaust not to mention they didn't list the 0.700" lift flows... Let's see them in action.

Pistons?

Does it take Yates pistons? Twisted Wedge pistons? Pistons that are unique to the heads?

Canted scares me, unless it's all out racing. I get the impression that the extreme valve angles are notorious for stem and seal wear, causing oil loss and smoke after very few miles. Am I wrong about this?

I just checked out the Kasse heads. Should be a Great Head if Jon Kasse designed them!

I's just a pooo white boy.

Sounds like some killer heads tho.

I'll be stuck with my little 205's until the engine pooches, I"m afraid.

Would like to throw a HUGE roller cam at it, tho.........(not this winter).......

They sure are BMFs! Kaase stated they don't need exh valve relifs and the intakes should clear up to 256@.050 solid roller. Now with the intake valve being moved closer to the intake flange that means the inline valve intake valve reliefs in std pistons will not even come close to being in the right place yet he used these heads on a crate 392 meaning he didn't need any vlave reliefs for up to 256 duration at .050 solid rollers. Much like the pistons for the Motorsport N-351 head that has no valve relifs I think those pistons would be perfect to use and if a relief is needed after all, you can rent the Isky relief cutter like I do and make your own reliefs cheap. The price of these heads and the fact they use standard type roller rockers makes these heads affordable to me compared to the Victors which require shaft rockers and the Kaase heads have the Dart header pattern. I can use these in my car! Hmmmm, sell the A-429s, Victor 4500 intake, and 532 stroker kit.....
