1978 460 carb

Anyone know what kind of carb would have come stock on a '78 truck 460? I'm thinkin it was either a spreadbore 4 bbl or a 2 bbl, but I'm not sure...

I'm bidding on a complete engine on ebay to swap in place of my 351M, and I plan on using a Holley 750 that I already have, so I'm trying to figure out whether I just need an adapter or a new intake to do this...

My 79 3/4 ton short bed 460 came from the factory with a std. base holley 4bbl 4160C. Your 750 should bolt right on.

It's pretty low... I think it's around 250 HP and 350 Lb/Ft

The trick to the 73 and up engines is to swap in a pre 72 timing set.
