8.8 cougar rear into fox stang w/ t-bird TC rear disc conv. or 5 lug conv. with rear disc
im planning on putting an 8.8 rear into my fox body stang out of my 88 cougar xr-7 im thinking the rear end is a little bit wider which dont really matter itll just handle a litte better and if the tires stick out oh well. what i am trying to figure out is if the rear end is longer and what is the easiest way to do a rear disc brake conversion. i would perfer to do the disc brake conversion and the 5 lug conversion at the same time ( to save money and time ) so i was wondering is there any part mixing and matching that i can do to convert to 5 lug disc brakes in the rear. im also planning on installing the sn95 spindles and brakes on the front to ne one that can help thank you
