Intake:331cfm@.800"lift
Exhaust:210cfm@.800"lift
AND:all standard windsor style intakes & headers fit!!!!!!!!
Has anybody seen these!?!?!?!?!?
Why isn't every magazine on the planet going nuts over these things????????
What the hell is going on???????????????????
P.S.:These + a Procharger D1SC would be the perfect way to say "WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?!?!" to your least favorite local Camaro owner!!!!!

Those head have a 247 cc intake port. That is huge and will not work on anything but big cubic inches. AFR 225 flows nearly that much with 22cc less volume. There's also the TFS R series heads. Those Kaase heads wouldn't work on anything other than a big cube stroker for a drag race application. Also, .8 lift is HUGE. Many other heads have smaller runners, and flow almost that much at .6 or .7 lift. CFM of air that a head can flow is not all that matters, you have to compare it to the size of the runner. Air velocity is what makes power, not only volume. Those heads would give you a lot of dead air in anything under 400 cubes.
If you're building a big cube, high rpm, strip only motor than they might work well, but other than that, I would say no.

Holy S**t! Jegs/Kaase SBF heads!
65roadracer:go to the Jeg's site, look up cylinder heads, then scroll down to Jeg's/Kaase.You will be shocked! They only tested the heads on 2 engines,an FRPP 392 crate, and an '89 5.0!They did them back to back agains t the AFR 185's on the 392 and with both cams the Kaase heads CRUSHED the AFR's!!!!Yikes! The AFR is currently about the best all-around head on the market if you asked me,that's pretty impressive! And on the 302 they seemed to work great, too!Definitely a high rpm type of motor, but if you want 511 hp from a 302 without a blower/turbo/nitrous you're probably dreaming! So far,the only downside to these things seems to be:A. Relatively high cost
B. Special valve covers required
I think I could live with both of those issues for that kind of SICK power!!!!

Didn't see any warning about Valve reliefs, eyebrows, etc... being needed?
What's the word on piston clearance at max lift?

That 247 cc port scares the s..t out of everybody. My opinion is that if the runner length is not altered that head would not work on the street with anything less than 400 ci. But, the runner volume really is very sensitive to the length.Say that the runner is 1,5" wide and 2" high. One inch difference in length will make a 19 cc difference.
What I´m gonna do next is to go to those Jeg´s pages.Evolution will go on here on earth and even better than current cylinder heads WILL BE developed.

valve clearance is supposed to be good "with cams up to 255*duration at.050" lift"WOW!Ya don't see that every day! They attribute it to the fact that the intake valve is canted toward the intake,so the valve travels away from the cyl wall as it opens.....I'm still amazed by these heads....I mean come on...this would be easy to do with Yates heads, but then you're into $400 bucks for an intake and $1000 for custom headers! With these heads, you pull off your old Windsor heads, bolt your existing intake, headers, and rockers onto these and your makin like 80-90 more horsepower(over 100 in some cases if your original head was a low-performance production piece). For that kind of performance gain, you've typically needed a nitrous kit in the past, and last time I checked you don't have to 're-fill' your cylinder heads every 6-8 passes!

Yeah, the heads look really good in building peak power but I wonder how they will do on a street car...
By the way isnt it amazing they got out 511hp/7800 rpm out of of stock bottom ended 5.0. Geez !

I noticed that but figured it was a typo;thought they meant 6800.....Does look suspicious, but Kaase's reputation can speak for itself without him Jimmying the #'s around to make himself look good.I mean holy crap,he was Dyno Don Nicholson's Pro Stock crew chief/engine builder when he was so freakin' young he still used clearasil!I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to sling bull**** to try to impress anybody.
