Dutchman, who made my 31`s for my small bearing housing in my 65, said that if I did a lot of driveing I might end up replacing the axel bearings more frequently than if I was using the large bearing. I dont drive a lot of miles so I cant ever see that being a problem, but if you are going to put 15,000 a year on it just check once in a awhile to be on the safe side.
