Can i disconnect the AC belt?

Since i never use the Air Conditioning in the car can i remove the single belt from the power steering pulley to the compressor? If i do it will it affect any other parts of the motor?[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Jake

Won't hurt a thing, Jake. But I don't think you'll gain any noticable benefit powerwise by just removing the A/C belt. Depending on whether you're worried about you car's resale value...most folks want A/C when buying a car, removing all of your air conditioning parts, compressor, lines, condensor, brackets, etc can save you a quite bit of front end weight.
