Motor swap to a 1988 ford truck needed!!!

I have a 1988 ford F-150 4WD with a 302 in it that has gone bad.I also have a 1987 mustang 5.0 HO motor.Can I use this motor by using the different firing order.Also do I have to use the truck intake.I need advise ASAP to get my truck back on the road.

I've seen it done. The injectors fire at the wrong time but it doesn't seem to matter. You can change the cam & get the old firing order if ya wanna.

So it should be a easy swap.I would rather keep the ho firing order.

Should be an easy one. I did an HO in a LTD last year & it was ok.

Which intake do I have to use?The HO one or the truck one.

Use the HO lower & the truck upper
