67 Mustang Lower control arms
Can anyone tell me what other years, if any, will work for a 67?

'67's are unique to that year. They are the same size as '68 and up but that have the angled strut rod mounting holes like the '66 and earlier. If you get '68 strut rods you can install the newer style control arms. '67's used to cost more but I think most of the Mustang parts houses sell them for the same price as '68 and up. Stu

C7OZ-3079-A is the P/N for the '67 Mustang arm and C7OZ-3078-A is the Fairlane part. Weird thing is the third letter in the Mustang's number (O) denotes it's a Fairlane part! Usually a unique Mustang part would be a Z. So the Fairlane part might work but can't and won't say for sure. It may be subtley different in a dimension or the strut rod mounting. Maybe a Fairlane owner could chirp in here and point out if that year Fairlane has the straight or curved strut rods? For the most part the Ford lower arms all look pretty much the same but different track widths as the "Falcon" based cars grew can through a curve at ya.

yes that is what i am dealing with, i have global uppers and they are dropped about 1 and 3/4 so the granadas didnt work out(granada spindles=problems when dropping the arms and going as wide as possible on the tires on most old fords), so back to the drums for now, thank god i saved them.
btw i have a 66 flane and the struts are the str8 ones
not certain about the 67 but im told by a 40 year ford tech i have 67 stang setup on my 66 fairlane and is stock 66.5 so he says, and from the work i have done on a 67 stang i can confirm they are the same, yet i havent measured the lca side to side width which maybe different but may not matter as the towers are probably off the same difference(wider).

Race? HAH! I think not. I might leave parts laying on the ground.
I'm not registering either, gonna roam the lot for a place to park. Got really lucky last year in that area. Followed a black 63 tbird into the lot, must have brought us luck, unlike a black cat. Maybe it will be the same this year, whatever I end up driving.

I switched my 67's controll arms to 68 type, you just need the matching strut arms from the junkyrd or new, my main reason was that an 1 1/8 sway bar wouldnt fit with out hitting the strut arms and they are more common.
