valvetrain noise please help me

hey my car is making an horrible noise, it sound like a lifter because at idle is a click click noise y remove my valve covers but any rocker arms have clearence, all rockers are at 18 lbs torque, but the noise is there some friends say that could be an dissarmed lifter, what do you think [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif[/img]

i really need help my engine is a 5.0 whit E-303 roller camshaft and stock lifters and 1.6 rockers arms

I an not sure if this applies as the engine I had this problem on was a 327. Yeah, i know it's a chevy but it was in a 1950 GMC PU so that makes it better. The 1.6 rockers were allowing the pushrods to contact the heads. They made a specific tool to clearance the head, and the problem went away after this was done. Look for shiny spots on your pushrods! Just my $0.02 Aaron
