throttle bracket

on my 69 mustang with the vic jr manifold it seems that the throttle is a little tight to move, when i push it to the floor and look into the engine bay through the window it seems to bend a little, i need a bracket that mounts on the manifold and carb anybody make this, i have a bracket mounted on the carb to the cable, didnt have this problem with the stealth maybe because it higher now thanks. my 69mach1 has the stock throttle cable coming out of the firewall.

I have this setup on my 302 with 600 Holley and Stealth manifold. It's a modified Lokar bracket. Nothing fancy, but it works and is stiff enough. I don't know if it helps, but here you go.

One thing that works quite nicely is the Lokar throttle cable kit. You can also upgrade to the kickdown cable if you're an automatic car.

But you can find a mid 80's bracket and cable at the dealer or junkyard and make that work too. It mounts to the bosses on the manifold that sit on the #8 runner. I don't recall the exact application.

thanks boys i have a full manual c-4 so i dont use kickdown anymore, think i'll go to the speed shop and see whats laying around for this bracket.
