c6 to c4 swap help..converter/bell housing

I had plained to swap my c6 for a c4 and reuse the c6 converter with a sline adapter.

Questions

do I use a c6 or c4 flexplate?

Will the c6 converter have the same bolt pattern as a 157t c4 flexplate?

If I use a 157t c4 flexplate, will my c6 converter fit inside the small c4 bell housing or will I have to use a big bell "164t"?

Thanks

Measure the distance from stud to stud most likely its 11.5 or in the neiborhood of that which is the 164 tooth fly whell. Check what you have and you mite be able to use it.

Right now I have all c6 stuff and 1 c4 "case only" no bell no flexplate, so I cant measure a thing.

I didn't want to pay for the 157t bell and flexplate if it wasn't going to work. Guess I could always use more spare parts

The C6 uses an 11 7/16" bolt pattern, which will require the 164 tooth C4 flywheel and the pan-fill "big" C4 bell.

So thats not the same as the big 164t c4 case-fill bell? My c4 is a case-fill.....

Damn I think I'll just buy a new c4 converter and be done with it
