Slick\'s to fit??

I have no very little clearance around my 225/60/15 radials, I need someone with experience with slicks to tell me what will fit also this is fitted on a 6" rim to keep the sidewalls from sticking out past the tread, have maybe 9/16" clearance from tyre to guard and inner fender so it has to be pretty right, any ideas????. As a thought with the 6" rim the tyre has worn perfectly with even wear accross the tread (sposed to be mounted on 7" but seems to wear better on 6" go figure)[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]

I use 225 60 15's on the street and have very little clearance (even though I cut out the fender lip). I recently purchased M/T 26" tall 8.5" wide slicks (with help from the guys on this board) and put them on a 6.75" wide rim with only about 3.75" to 4" backspacing. They have great clearance and were a blast at the track! The suggested backspacing from a member here was 4.25" to 4.5" on the rim.
