Is This a good deal?

Howdy All I recently got offered a 1992 5.0L for $100(canadian). It comes with everything: Heads,pistons, Carburetor manifold. If i buy it i'll want to put it in place of my 3.8 in my 86' Merc Marquis. I have a C5 In it so what will i have to do when i swap it in? Thanks for all input and thoughts. Jake

[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]since the 3.8 and the 5.0 share the same bellhousing pattern, this is a fairly simple swap. you dont even need to change the K member as the only one that was different was the inline 6 K member. you will have to change the engine wiring harness, and the computer though as they are different from the 3.8.
