Suggestions for getting my 306 into the 11\'s.

hey i'm putting together a 306 motor. i have a short block with some dome pistons, Scat rods, stock crank, and a dss main girdle. I also have a victor jr. manifold and a holley 650dp with a proform main body for the top end. What should i be looking at for heads and cam (mechanical roller) if i wanted to put my mustang in the 11's? I'll be using a C/4 with a 10" 3,500 stall converter and a 4.10 gear with a 26" tall tire. Thanks a lot in advance.

A set of AFR 165's would get you there easily! But be sure your piston tops match the shape of the combustion chamber or you may run into problems.

you dont need a mech roller to run 11's. my old 306 with a set of mild ported 70 351w heads and a flat tappet cam. the can ran 11.70's@113 with a 1.58 60 in a 3100 pound car in street trim.
