How to replace/repair early Mustang window crank assembly?

Anyone have a how-to on this? My windows are impossible to roll up and down... they grind and bind really bad.

thanks

Just rebuilt ours. The lubricant that the factory uses turns to glue after a few years. You need to disassemble the window mechanism and clean the old lube out with mineral spirits. I went back with lubriplate. You may need to replace some of the rollers if they are broken or flat spotted. Most of the mustang catalogs sell repair kits and rollers. Hope this helps.

There is a guy in Vegas who re-builds (if not bend ) or will sell rebuild ones to you, I thank mine where something like 60.00 dollars each, now my windows work perfect. His name is Ralph # 702-646-8767, sometimes hes hard to get ahold of.
