Tranny lines

I'm gonna re-route my tranny lines, to give them more clearance with the headers. My question is can I remove the lines from the tranny without it leaking ATF? It's a C6

You will probably loose a little fluid that is in the lines but not out of the trany itself. Reroute as required and top off the trany as necessary.
