Help Me Choose an Ignition System

I like the MSD Digital 6+ and the standard Billet distributer.

The Digital 6+ comes with a 2-step rev limiter and nitrous retard built in. It also has a start retard function for those who decide to lock out their distributer. All the functions are also controlled by small dials... so there are no extra rpm and retard chips to buy.

It uses digital circuitry, which is much more reliable and efficient than the analog 6A series. If the battery is very low with the 6A, the engine will sometimes crank, but there won't be enough juice to make the ignition work. The digital system will fire, even with the battery very low.

I purchased my ignition back before this unit came out, so I've got a fender full of boxes... 6AL, 2-step, retard, and rpm dial switch box all wired together. A couple of my friends have the Digital 6+ units, and really like them.

The extra features give you combination room to grow.

Good Luck!
