2000 Dodge Stratus rear brakes

I was looking at my girlfriends wheel cylinders on a 2000 Dodge stratus and noticed her rear shoes needed changing. The spring set-up is nothing like I have seen before. Any special tools for it? Do you assemble the springs in the shoes before installing the hold downs? Sorry about the Dodge question.....

Thanks,
Chris
