Intake gasket... which way is up?

I'm ready to install my stealth intake on my 289 and have lots of great doc but none of it says whether the printed side of the fel-pro intake gaskets should face up (to manifold) or down to the head...

since the gaskets have an extrusion around each port I assume this is important...

The printed side goes to the intake.

Don't feel bad, I had the same question about one week ago. The side with the raised bead around the ports goes to the intake side.
