514 cam-swap

In a recent Hot-Rod mag they did comparos on crate engines. On the 625 HP 514 FRPP motor, they said close to 800 hp was likely with a mid 260 duration cam swap...(at .050&quot[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] and minor port work. Anyone have any experience with this? Any help appreciated.

I know Greg Cook swaped out the stock 600 HP 514 crate cam on his motor a few years back......maybe he can tell ya more about what he found.....
