That I can understand because of the rest of the work you have done.Would love to see some 1/4 mile times when or if you do that sort of thing.Your car deserves a feature or write up on its own really.

Thanks Karl...you've been very supportive throughout my restomod. The pic shows the good side...the passenger side is a bit higher than the drivers side.
I worked on the timing today because I was noticing how I could feel a flat spot in the acceleration in the mid rpm area. I had put a Pro Race damper on the engine since the last timing adjustment and I checked it today to find it set at 18 BTDC...too much advance. I moved it to 14 BTDC...runs much better. So naturally I took it out for a few runs today. I would estimate it doing low 13s to high 12s between 105 and 110 in the 1/4 as it sits today. I hope to drop the exhaust soon and take it in for another dyno test and while i'm at it to get the carb tuned also. I'm very curious to feel how it runs with open exhaust.
Funny you mention the write up, because KB-Silvolite wants to feature my car on their site. They appreciate the free thinking I did in designing the 331 while incorporating their KB322 piston into my design. I hope to see my FB featured on their site in the near future...i'm so appreciative that they would consider my car good enough to feature it on their site...very cool!
