Lowering front end of a Maverick

I need lower the front end of my maverick, the front end, suspension is the same in Comet, Maverick and early Mustang? How years? The Shelby mod list diference in the 65-66 and 67-70 Mustang.
If the mod aply, i go in the same procedure listed for the Shelby mod, for early Mustang in my Maverick(1974 brasilian)? How procedure 65 or 67 mod, Any help?

Lowering front end of a Maverick

YOu would use the later procedure. YOu could also cut a coil off your current springs or buy springs from a mustang that have already been dropped. Eibach springs etc.....

I know it's not a Mavrick ... but

On my 73 Mach1 (pictured below) ... I wanted to lower the front by about one inch ...

I cut about 3/4 of a coil off the front coils ... some folks told me it would runin this or ruin that ...

guess what ...

the front end (stance) is looking good and ...

It ruined ...

NOTHING

Lowering front end of a Maverick

I cut one full coil off of my '74. Worked great, no problems whatsoever...but it dropped it about 1 1/2-2" total. If I did it over again, I'd only take about 3/4 coil off.

Lowering front end of a Maverick

If your car is a V-8 then get some springs from a 6 cyl maverick and that will drop your front end about 3-4cm.
