Torq Thrust II wheels on a mustang??

I'm building a Factory 5 kit car cobra with 5 lug front rotors from a 92 Lincoln Mark VII (using stock mustang spindle/knuckle & caliper)

How can I find out if Torq Thrust II wheels will fit ?

We just ordered a FFR MkIII. How is your build going? Sorry no help on the rims.

To be honest, it's taking me a little longer than expected.
If I could do it over again, I'd have selected a nicer doner car so I wouldn't have to buy so many new parts. If I can offer you any advice, please feel free to call me anytime 313-673-7698

Any wheels will fit providing they're the right bolt space and backspace and width. The bolt space is 5x4.5". I'd recommend contacting F5 and let em tell you the info you need along with the rim size and tire sizes they recommend. From eveyone I've spoken with, their tech department is stellar.

This is not true.
Not just any wheel will fit over top of a Lincoln Mark7 front rotor because of the beefy boss that sticks up in the center of the rotor.

here is a picture of a Mark7 rotor that had the boss machined at a 45 degree angle (below the dust cap) for clearance for Late Model Mustang Bullit wheels.

I originally assumed that I'd have the same clearance issue with American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels, but this was not the case - at least with the 18 inch versions. My wheels/tires have been ordered and I'll be sure to let people know if my rotors need to be machined as shown for clearance.

If I'd known you were concerned with a caliper clearance issue, I'da kept my mouth shut... When someone asks about fit, I naturally assume they're talking about width, etc. Glad it worked out for you.

because I'm not rich.

Motorsport 5 lug conversion kits go for around $180 and new Mark7 rotors are $36. I'm told that this is a common front rotor to use to convert Foxbody mustangs to 5 lugs.
